Community Outreach

As Jesus instructed his disciples in Matthew 25, we seek to reach out beyond ourselves to others in our community. This is the work of the Community Outreach committee. Within its ministry, we are currently doing the following:

Supporting the McArn Community Ministry with leadership on the Board and encouraging volunteers to help that ministry

Participating with Habitat for Humanity in Chesterfield County

Providing “Meals in a Box” to the needy for Thanksgiving

Sponsoring evenings to feed the poor at First Baptist’s Soup Kitchen

Raising Money for the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life

Supporting the Mercy-in-Me Free Medical Clinic

Supporting our church’s outreach through the Mothers’ Morning Out Program
