Congregational Care

Not only are we concerned about the lives of those in our community, but we remember Paul’s words in Galatians, when he wrote “so then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:10)

The Congregational Care committee seeks to care for members of the congregation through congregational activities and individual contact. Among its ministry includes the following:

Overseeing the prayer list

Sending cards of well-wishing, sympathy, and “sunshine cards” to those in spiritual need

Organizing the Church Retreat

Placing a memory flower in worship for those who have died
