Witness

National and world missions, the responsibility of the Witness Committee, includes educating the community of faith on the needs of those we support in foreign missions and encouraging participation in mission opportunities supported by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  Opportunities for witness include:

Souper Bowl of Caring - held each year on the Sunday of the Super Bowl to help feed the hungry.

One Great Hour of Sharing - disaster relief - April 4, 2010

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina - retirement communities for Presbyterians and friends - May 9, 2010

Thornwell Home for Children - providing education, shelter, and food for children whose parents are unable to care for them - November 21, 2010
